Ellyse Perry show in MI vs RCB in WPL :

Royal Challengers Bangalore, riding on Ellyse Perry’s best-ever bowling figures in the history of Women’s Premier League, defeated Mumbai Indians by seven wickets to make it to the playoffs in the Women’s Premier League match in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Perry snapped six for 15 runs as RCB dismissed Mumbai Indians for 113 runs.

Perry scored 40 and added an unbeaten 74 with Richa Ghosh (36) after RCB were left gasping at 39/3 in 6.1 overs, chasing a low but tricky target of 114 to win. Richa got a chance as she was dropped on two by Nat-Sciver-Brunt, but Perry needed noen as he fee of her performance with the ball earlier in the game.

Perry Magic qualify RCB in Playoffs…

Ellyse Perry Takes 6 wicket in 4 overs and gave 15 runs. Perry come as a warrior for RCB to qualify in playoffs in WPL 2024.She show her magic with bowling and when she comes to bat she score 40 Runs in 38 balls and hit the Match winning shot for out of the boundaries.

Earlier, RCB restricted MI to 113 as they bowled the opposition out in 19 overs. Perry was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 6/15, which are the best in the history of the league. Sajana Sajeevan top-scored for the Mumbai side with 30 runs to her name. 

RCB skipper Smriti Mandhana won the toss and decided to bowl first. 

It was a must-win game for the RCB and they made no changes to their playing 11 from the match against Delhi Capitals where they fell short by just a single run. Mumbai made a forced change as Yastika Bhatia was injured therefore Priyanka Bala found a place in the playing 11.
